In May 2026, the Siddique Educational Trust hosted a transformative medical aid event in Abbottabad. What looked like a single day of service was actually the result of months of careful planning, door-to-door surveys, and genuine community collaboration.We began by visiting nearby villages, sitting with residents, and listening closely to understand their most urgent health needs. Then we decided to bring the hospital to them. We took one of our Trust bases and converted it into a fully functioning temporary medical facility. We set up proper hygiene protocols, maintained clean and safe conditions, and brought in professionals—audiologists, eye specialists, mobility experts, and general health doctors—all under one roof. We arranged free transport for patients from surrounding villages and served refreshments to every guest who walked through our doors. In the end, nearly 100 of our brothers and sisters received care. Real names. Real faces. Real relief. Here’s what that looked like:
- 57 eye tests → 30% will soon receive prescription glasses. Orders have been placed. We’ll call you personally.
- 28 hearing tests → 7 hearing aids fitted on the spot, with others awaiting their aids soon.
- 8 wheelchairs given to those who can finally move with dignity. We still need 4 more—and we won’t stop until we get them.
- 20 general health check‑ups plus free medicine for those who needed it most.
We are deeply grateful to the medical professionals who volunteered their time, the village communities who trusted us with their care, and everyone who made this long-term project a reality.
